How to Start Losing Weight? 10 points for the best answer!?

I''ve been heavy since i started middle school....now that i''m in high school i realize that my weight can cause many problems in the future.... I''m 5''5 and 160 lbs....I know its a lot....
I try to exercise but I need to start with easy exercises. I can do jumping jacks, I can jump rope for about 2 minutes non stop......How should I stay committed and motivated?
I''m a vegetarian....I don''t eat meat/eggs/fish.
Please give me beginners exercise guide and some easy eating tips..

Eat salads, start walking that is the best thing. Play in gym during school. Time yourself while your walking like you have to get home in 30 minutes or less (get me) Join a sport you like.
