Do you think 800 calories is to much? for like a whole day?

I mean I could limit myself to 800 calories a day. Plus exercising. The exercise will even it out right? So the calories wont turn into unattractive fat? Or should it be less, like 600 calories?

How Can I Lose Weight in a Healthy Way?

Recommended Answer:
800 is way too little and you might really damage yourself in the long run. Plus, if you eat too little, your body might start to hold on to fat (it will think it is starving) and you won''t lose weight. Then, any little thing that you eat will put lots of pounds on you. Not smart in the long run.

It is better to have a more balanced diet and a healthy amount of calories per day. If you target about 1500 calories a day, but make those calories healthy ones - (fruits, veggies, protein, whole grain carbs, dairy) and cut down on anything fatty or highly processed, that would be much better for you. Best of all - you should see a doctor to make sure that you have a healthy eating plan.

It is good that you are incorporating exercise. That will definitely help you lose weight quickly as well as help you in other ways.

  • Try and stay under 1400 calories.
If you don''t eat enough you''ll get sick.
  • definatley not.. the average daily calorie intake for a "healthy" person is 2000. your body would burn 800 calories a day without excersice, lol. if you are really tryin to lose weight fast, your on the right track, but make sure you drink lots of water. and really you should check with your doctor to see if thats even healthy for you.. people even get more than 800 calories on a liquid diet. 800 caloies is like the equivelant of 2 packs of ramen noodles.. lol
  • Your height, age, weight, and physical activity determines how many calories you should take in. Honestly, 800 calories is too less...it''ll lead to malnutrition. When you exercise you can either choose to burn more than you take in (lose weight) or burn about as much as you take in (maintain your weight.) Of course when you exercise, your fat will turn into muscle...which is heavier than fat. This means that you will weigh more, but you''ll be healthy and have a great body, so don''t go by what the scale says.
  • Wait are you serious?! It''s too little you should have at least 1,200 calories a day. Please educate yourself on dieting I''m tired of coming across these ridiculous questions. Go away
  • Um..NO..it''s too LITTLE for a whole day. It will definitely not turn into unattractive fat, but you WILL Be skin and bones.
