How Thai Food Can Help You Lose Weight

Recommanded Answer:
I hope you don't mind getting an answer from a girl. :) But, I have studied this issue quite a bit. It's good that you are working your muscle groups since muscle weighs more than fat and needs more calories and can help you lose weight.

You are trying to get lots of protein and lose weight. However, your protein choices tend to have a lot of fat which is counterproductive to your weight loss goal. The thing with protein is getting enough to eat. My son works out a lot and he has to eat a lot. He runs miles everyday and works out.

If you want to lose the fat, you have to stop eating the fat. You can try switching to getting your protein in high amounts by having a meal of beans and brown rice. There are high protein grains also that you can steam up easily like quinoa, millet, amaranth.

Then, just add to your grains or beans some lemon/lime juice, salsa, minestrone soup, or cut up fresh fruit and some cinnamon sprinkled on. You can have more vegetable soups and add extra beans to it. You can have potatoes which have sufficient protein and will help you to have energy without the extra fat. You can try green drinks made with pineapple juice and high-protein greens like parsley, kale, or spinach.

One of the main benefits of increasing your protein with these types of plants is that grains, greens, and beans are high in fiber. And fiber carries out the fat. So, you can lose the most weight by canceling out the fat, increasing proteins that have fiber, and working out. All three efforts will melt that fat away the fastest.

High protein sources with lots of fat are nuts, flesh, eggs, dairy. You did only eat the white for one meal, so that's good for no fat, however, the yolk has all the nutrition, so that one is a toss up. You might want to eliminate the animal products until you reach your ideal weight. The oatmeal and toast are great choices for some protein as well as getting enough to eat. The eggs, tuna, peanut butter, chicken breasts all have fat. Vegetables actually have a lot of protein like broccoli but they don't have good starch carbs to give you energy, they are just good for you. make sure your rice is brown rice. Brown rice has great fiber.

Working the abs is good, it helps a little to have a firmer stomach area. If you go on a brisk walk/jog/run daily for 30 minutes you will burn more overall fat including your stomach area. Too much ab work can give you a back problem as my son found out. He had to give it a rest and go to the chiropractor. But, he's in the military and can do 70-80 sit ups in a few minutes.

Eating a high-fiber diet will help with the belly fat by carrying it out and keeping your digestive area moving along and clean. Animal products have fat and don't have any fiber and can just sit around in your belly stressing your intestines and colon to try to get them out eventually. Meanwhile they sit and rot. Skim or nonfat milk just has a type of protein that causes cancer www.notmilk.com

Don't eat your fruit with meals it's better eaten alone. Don't eat starches with animal products, it doesn't digest well together, hampers protein digestion. If you are going to eat animal stuff only use the non-starchy vegetables along with it. Otherwise, starches and non starchy vegetables go well together. (good digestion info from Fit for Life by Harvey and Marilyn Diamond) Drink water between meals not with them.

Multivitamins are a joke, they are unbalanced chemicals that your body doesn't know what to do with if they even get absorbed, just an excuse to not eat healthy. If you want a good supplement, go to the health food store and get whole food supplements NOW brand Special Two and green drink powders like Amazing Greens, vegetarian protein powders, don't get the whey and animal protein drinks since they make you more constipated.

Don't sacrifice your health with too many animal products. Just eat plenty of grains, beans, potatoes, winter squash, taro, vegetables and some fresh fruit for snacks and after workout. The plant foods are also super low calorie even though they give you sufficient energy to work out, you won't have to count or restrict calories - just enjoy eating and watch the fat on your belly disappear most quickly.
