A question about weight loss...?

I am 17 and am about to turn 18. I am not happy with how I look and it's time to do something about it. I currently am 190 lbs and my goal is around 130-135 by April 2014. I use to be thin, but I gained the weight back and even more because I wasn't eating right. I am ready to start this change, but there is an obstacle. It's my senior year and usually before I go to school and after I feel tired and mostly have homework. My question is how can I lose this weight without feeling so tired and dealing with school? Any advice, tips, or commentary will be greatly appreciated. Thank you! 10 points to the best answer. ♥

You need a good appetite suppressant. I found an excellent one and dropped 20lbs pretty quickly. I found it at http://alpinehealthlabs.com you may now visit it and read it for more info.

  • Hi Scotia,Try the following:1) Don't diet, just eat consciously:Try adding vegetables to every food or meal you eat. For example, if you go out for a pizza, ask for some vegetables, take a slice, add some of the vegetables and enjoy. If you can and you feel like this is something you could do, try eating the vegetables and the protein first, and then eat the carbs, that way the body will process better the nutrients.2) Drink One or Two Glasses of Water Before Every Meal:Water flushes your system and get rid of all the toxins in your body. In my own experience I felt that after drinking a glass of water or two, I didn't have all those cravings I used to have. Try drinking a glass or two before each meal, and you´ll see the difference. OK, were into step two of the 4 best ways to lose weight, let's have a look at the third way.3) Get rid of emotional stress:Stress is a factor that in some cases could cause you to gain weight. Meanwhile there is no extensive studies that indicate that stress can increase weight, I did noticed from my own experience that when I reduced emotional stress, I lost weight.4) Change Your Eating Patterns:Try the following:If you eat by night your insulin levels will be high and it's going to be hard for your body to burn the fat, and instead of burning fat, your body will create more fat instead. For a change, try the following:Try eating more earlier during the day, and then, perhaps an earlier dinner and a lighter one, that way you'll change your eating habits and you will in fact burn more fat.Don't diet, if you diet, you'll not feel well, just make small improvements to your current eating habits.Kind Regards,Alexander

What would be a good weight for me in your opinion?

Right now I am like 130 if I had to guess. I'm 5'2. It's hardly over the BMI at all. But my breasts are 36c and im pretty sure at least a cup of it is fat and my stomach is kind of too chubby for me and I know my weight isn't really unhealthy I just don't like it. Should I lose weight? If so, how many pounds should I go down to to look fit? I have wide hips too and thighs. It's like all my weight focuses on the front of my tummy and lower sides. So it's difficult for me to look proportionate. I just dislike my body these days it and I need advice fixing itif this makes no sense I'm sorry I'm just so tired and I cant stop thinking ;_;

Here is your ideal weight range (I had to guess at your age) --> http://www.calculator.net/ideal-weight-calculator.html?ctype=standard&cage=16&csex=f&cheightfeet=5&cheightinch=2&cheightmeter=180&x=0&y=0 .You're okay the way you are. However, if you want to try body sculpting, read the following.We are all 99% nature (genetics) and 1% nurture (changeable). Here is what we can do to sculpt our bodies.1. Add fat - Adding fat for all but the extreme ectomorph is a simple matter of eating too many calories over a long period of time. We have no control over where the fat will be deposited on our body.2. Lose fat - Fat loss must begin with diet. Exercise can help but no exercise can make someone lose fat if they eat too many calories. We have no control over where the fat leaves our body.3. Add muscle - Adding muscle size requires a commitment to very hard strength training (anaerobics). We don't get big muscles from aerobic ("cardio") exercise. It only comes very slowly from working out against substantial resistance.4. Lose muscle - There is no healthy way to lose natural (genetic) muscle. We can, however, allow our muscles to atrophy or grow smaller by not using them. We can also "waste" muscle by starving them of nutrition. These, of course, are not a healthy options but they are the only way to make lean muscle smaller (less volume).That's it. That's all we can do without surgery. It's unfortunate you neglected to mention your age. However, assuming you're a teen, you need to work on your body image more than you need to work on your body. Watch this video which may help you understand --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEKBR9Q39a0Here's an excellent website for you. Be sure to bookmark it and use it. It's been recommended by the people your doctor listens to, US National Institute of Health, and has tons of information about your growing and changing body. --> http://teenshealth.org/teen/ Don't try to micromanage your body if you're growing. You need at least 20% body fat in the teen years and trying to make big changes is pointless because you don't know what direction your genes will dictate your body goes.To find out how the best minds in nutrition in the world (at the US NIH) have recommended for decades we lose fat, read my answer about how to lose fat --> http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=As615QJM4X_3ID9_05qmmlXty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20111028185603AAVcP4D Good luck and good health!!♠PS: Here are some good websites you may find useful.• BEST SEARCH ENGINE http://www.usa.gov• A MUST FOR DIETERS http://www.freedieting.com/• BEST DIET TOOL ON THE WEB http://www.myfitnesspal.com/• BEST FOODS FOR YOU http://www.choosemyplate.gov/index.html• NUTRITION DOT GOV http://www.nal.usda.gov/food-and-nutrition

When I lose weight, would this work?

I will eat the right foods, and drink alot of water, and do cardio 4x a week. I want to know if I weight trained with lighter weights while I was dieting and took whey protein isolate would I still lose the weight and keep my muscle I have already.Also1. Does cardio create muscle loss and make it look like less muscle is there.2. There is like 1g of creatine in the whey, so if I took that would it affect weight loss.

How to Lose Weight Hiking

I'm done with my weight loss journey and completely happy with how I feel and how I look right now however losing weight is a challenge for anyone and even losing 5 pounds and keeping it off isn't an easy task. Also I bet you didn't know that 5 pounds of fat is about the size of 8 cheese burgers? That alone should be enough to make anyone want to get on the ball and start a change for the better. Weight loss can be really easy to learn but the problem is nobody wants to put the required effort that is needed to actually do it, instead people continually look for (easy) ways to do it. If there was an easy way to lose weight I don't think 35% of Americans would be obese. There was a time when I also wanted to lose weight and was tired of starting diets only to lose motivation and give up just a few weeks later after seeing no results. However, let me tell you it is literally one of the easiest things you will ever learn once you find a good and reputable place to learn it from and I say that only because the world is filled with magic diet pills, liquid flush diets and a thousand other quick fixes that promise xx pounds of weight loss in the first week and even though it is impossible they know you're going to do it because your desperate. I have probably tried every diet pill, liquid flush diet, and ab rocket machine known to man and have had no success with any of them nor do I know anyone that has ever had any success with them. I have also tried starving myself which works very well for the first few weeks' right before your metabolism comes to a complete stop and eating just the tiny bit makes you gain weight and you end up weighing more than you did before you started starving yourself. Companies promote weight loss to make money not to get people healthy again and that's because they know you're not going to be a customer and buy their products if you're no longer fat. http://fatloossfactor.com is a site I want you to go to when you have 10 or 20 minutes to spare and I want you to sit down and watch his video on weight loss. He helps people every day to lose weight I have never seen someone as committed as him and that will go so far out of his way to help someone. His weight loss program is one of the best I have ever had the enjoyment of doing and it is without doubt the best success I have ever had with any weight loss program. I also couldn't be happier with my body right now and I have never felt this wonderful in my whole life. In the end you just got to remember to stick with it and stay confident in yourself and in no time you can achieve the results you have always wanted. It's not hard to lose weight but most people have a hard time staying motivated and 9 times out of 10 it was because they weren't really committed from the beginning. Anyways I hope I helped you and I hope you make the commitment to change your body and life. Remember it's not easy to take the first step but you did, you're here right now taking it and the rest of the steps will fall into place. Have a wonderful day.

  • Try lifting weights with more weight. But any kind of weight training is good. Whey protein can help too. Take it after workouts.Cardio can only create muscle loss if you do too much and eat to little. So eat a little more to complement the cardio.Creatine will not affect weight loss. Take it before workouts.Good luck!
