Why did i become sad when i started highschool?

From prep to grade 6 (Primary school)
I was so happy! I was myself.
Then as soon as i got into highschool my life changed..
People are so cruel there, there mean.. I got broken down to someone im not..
Then one of my friends started making my life hell..
there not my friend anymore.
I feel left out... I''m so shy im terrified going to school.
At home i cant stand my stepdad ever since i meet him.. (3 years old) i''v hated him.
Hes is never happy, has never smiled or laughed.. threaths to kill me & my step sister.
blames everything on me. He gets angry so easy..
He hits my sister... trys to hit me.
My mum doesnt even care... Whenever i try and speak to my mum hes shows up.
I alwas feel like she likes him more then me.
mum is alwas mean to me when hes around.
I know im being immature about all this.. I''m sad that other people in the world have nothing & im complaining :(..
I feel sad alwas because im so obese its not funny... i want to lose weight but im scared that ill have saggy skin.. I weigh 97kg, im female & 5''4
I''m NOT one of those people who will cut or think about suicide.
I just wanna know how to be happy again.
I''m only 14 btw.

How Can I Lose Weight in a Healthy Way?

Recommended Answer:
Hi sweetie, let me share a little something-something to you..
When I was little, my uncle abused my sister. Nobody liked me at school and I had constant mood-swings. And one day, I thought about suicide. I know it''s something you''re avoiding, but just thought I''ll put it up :)
But it was only my surroundings that affected. And as cheesy as this sounds, be yourself. Be who you used to be. Think of what makes you happy. Anything. Start by smiling a lot. With what you do, your surroundings can change. About your stepdad, I suggest you go to an adult you can trust. If you don''t have someone, then find them. Read funny books and watch tv or play games. They can really make your heart grin.
About your school dilemma, either you ignore, or stand up to them. Call them out. And your mom, try to reach out to her.
About your body, don''t worry, I''ve been there :). Eat small meals 5 times a day. Once you feel like it, start exercising.
I know how it feels, but trust me, as cheesy as this sounds, it gets better (trevorproject reference :))

How much weight will I gain? I''m so scared?

I''ve been struggling with anorexia for about 3 years now, my weight changes often and very quickly. I started to gain more weight as I started binging and purging.. and was latter diagnosed as bulimic.

Starting Friday I will be going to a recovery program at the hospital, where I will be forced to eat 1800 calories a day. I am so upset about this. And have been panicking every since I found out. I do not want to gain weight. I am trying SO hard to lose weight.. I''m so scared. And I''m so angry. ):

I am currently 5''6 and 120 pounds.. I know I''m way too heavy, and need to lose weight.

But now this stupid center is going to make me fat. ):

I''m Just really upset.. How much weight do you think I will gain on 1800 calories a day? And is there a way to not gain weight while eating this much? Keep in mind.. I will not be allowed to purge or exercise. :L

Thanks.

8 Top Tips to Help You Lose Weight

You won''t gain anymore weight than you should. You''ve already admitted to being bulimic which shows that you know that you have a problem. Take their advice and be healthy.

  • Not much, you''re fine. It''s a hospital that wants you to do it, so you''ll be fine. You''re not going to be fat.
  • It depends on how low of calories you usually ate. I''m sorry you have to endure this, I hope nothing but the best for you
  • That is not fat.... Trust me, you will feel and look better if you just do what they tell you to do... Please don''t starve yourself to death, which is better? Death, or a little weight gain?

noob weight loss tips, help please, encouragement?

I never dieted before and I''m 170 atm (I''m 19 and 5''6) I feel huge. I was on a good diet for about a week and then I cracked. I went to the gym 3 times that week and ran for about 30 minutes (give or take) on a incline 2 along with some other exercises. I haven''t seen any results and I''m getting frustrated. I need help! Dance To Lose Weight

Don''t expect to see dramatic results in a short period of time. Start by making goals for yourself! What I did was look at myself in the mirror and see what I wanted to change and start writing it down. I myself am super insecure about my body. Make a log on your computer or better yet make a journal! Weigh yourself and write it down in your journal. This will be your starting weight. I started keeping pictures of my dream body from tumblr and put it in my phone (a little weird, yes, but it motivates you!). I looked on weight loss blogs and Instagrams and they have plenty of little facts that are helpful like what to eat, exercises, etc. YouTube has a bunch of work out videos for women that can be leveled from beginning and you can work your way up from there! Keeping a healthy diet makes a HUGE difference. Cut out soda, fast food, obvious things. Drink plenty of water. Seriously, no soda or energy drinks or Powerade or any of that. You''re literally drinking sugar. In your journal record how many calories you''ve burned every time you go to the gym and try to beat it the next time you go. The more you work out/eat healthy you''ll start feeling a lot better and less mopey and tired. Get a good nights sleep. Whatever you do don''t starve yourself. Remember to portion well. I used to starve myself and went all the way down to 95 pounds, then I started eating again and gained TEN pounds so fast! And your cravings go up! Fat gets stored in your body and it''s just bleh. When I first started working out I felt like I was getting bigger and felt like giving up, but it was just fat turning into muscle and my body needed time to adjust and i began slimming down. Another thing is to go on a mini shopping spree! I find shopping for work out clothes and water bottles and little things like that get me excited for the next time i work out. If you are really craving something and can''t take it anymore, go ahead and eat it, but in moderation. Eventually you can eat whatever you wants as long as you don''t eat a lot of it. I know I have so much more to say but I think this is the main points. Good luck!

  • it takes time, it doesn''t work overnight my dear. just wait and work hard for the results. it''ll be all worth it :-)
  • Of course you''re not going to get results after one week. What did you think was going to happen... And what would you consider to be a good diet? People have no clue. Try going on a no carb diet and you will see results after about three weeks if you are strict. Diet is ten times more important then actually exercising for wight loss. If you''re going to exercise, walk. It burns more fat than running.
  • I am 5"4.5 and weighed almost 200 lbs when I came to stay with my mother (husband deployed). Needless to say we were both unhappy with me, when I started on the treadmill I could barely do a 2.0 pace, I was so out of shape. I have made myself do the treadmill at least 4-5x a week and am now up to a 3.8 pace on a 10 incline for 25 min minimum 5x a week. I have added pushups and forward lunges (great for butt toning) and well as squats and sit-ups. Make sure todo these in reps rather than just a bunch at once. What kept me going personally was I wanted to look good for my husband and get in shape for the jobs I''m interested in. I didn''t see any results at first, it was frustrating. Due to having a heavier bone structure I refuse to go by the scale and prefer "do I like what I see in the mirror?". I''m now wearing dresses I wore as a teenager over 12 yrs ago.
