  • As long as you get the protein some other way (Tofu for example) you will be alright (: Good luck!
  • If you really want to become a vegetarian I suggest taking daily vitamins. And search up substitute for meats
  • Yes. People should eat small amounts of meat every day.
  • You just have to do your research, eat a healthy balanced diet and you will be fine. There are plenty of plant based proteins (beans, nuts, seeds, lentils, grains). Just make sure you are getting all your vitamins and minerals through a varied diet. These sites have a run down of veggie nutritionhttp://vegankit.com/eathttp://www.mercyforanimals.org/VSG.pdfAlso try and watch "Forks Over Knives", a film that discusses a plant based diet for health.http://www.forksoverknives.com/about/
  • you really need to know what you're getting yourself into before you go vegetarian. there are plenty of other ways to get protein but you need to incorporate them into your diet and make sure you like them before you decide to go meat free.
  • Don't worry about that you will be weak without meat. There are so many alternate source of protein: Pulses: peas beans lentils soya foods (tofu); Nuts and peanuts; Seeds (pumpkin, sesame, sunflower); Cereals (oats, wheat, quinoa, buckwheat) Cereal products (bread and pasta) are typical protein diets.
  • No, you won't get weak.I've been vegetarian for 17 years and get up every day, get my kids (both brought up as vegetarians) to school, walk my dogs for a couple of miles, go to aquarobics, clean my house...............I think you'll be fine. There's nothing magical about getting your protein from meat.
  • Do other vegetarians look week? No, you won't become week if you get the protiens another way. A way that you could get it is tablets or tofu. You won't become week, at first it will feel weird and it will,be hard, but as long as you find another way to have the same protein, you'll be okay.
  • No! Only if u eat junk food all day!! Replace meat with lentils beans , tofu etc. Even spinach and cereal has protein! Theres sooo many plant ways to get protein! Do more research.on what.foods.to eat.

Does Gold's Gym offer a couples' membership discount?

My girlfriend and I are generally very healthy people, but after 3 years of university, we both have gained some weight. We would each like to lose about 10 or 15 pounds and tone our bodies. Additionally, we are hoping that going to the gym together will be a new activity we can pursue together to shake us out of our daily routines and strengthen our bond. I would like to know if Gold's Gym offers any kind of couples' membership and if so, how much it costs per month. If Gold's does not offer couples' memberships, then does anybody know of a gym that does and how much it costs? Thanks in advance!

How to Help Your Family Lose Weight

Recommended Answer:

The family membership rate is not posted. You'd need to call. The YMCA will have that information on their website. Your community might have a fitness center with a family rate. Many private facilities are franchises. That might mean that owners can charge the basic rate but might deal if you ask. Investigate your local area. Use the phone or email. Or drop in and inquire.

My own 3 day diet. Will it work?

I''m planning on making my own 3 day diet because I wouldn''t be able to follow the original one. I''ve decided this:
Breakfast: 1 slice of bread and tea 1 spoon sugar
Break: apple
Lunch: apple
Dinner 1 slice bread and juice
For all 3 days.. Do you think it will help me lose 10 pounds too? Because I''m not very big and I think that means it''s harder for me to lose weight.. I don''t think I''ll be able to excercise on this diet because it''s really low calories.. Please help? Thanks :) xx

Is This The Best Way To Lose Weight?

Recommended Answer:
First, this is an utterly ridiculous diet. It will do more harm to your body then help. The key is to eat healthy AND exercise.

To answer your question: no, you will not lose ten pounds. To lose a pound, you need to be 3500 calories deficient for the week. You are supposed to average around 2000 calories per day. So even if you did not eat for three days, you would still lose only about 2 pounds.

Further, by not eating, your body starts eating itself and you will feel worse than you would if you were to eat healthy and exercise.

  • Maybe not 10 pounds
  • If you eat like this for the next 6 months you might lose 10lbs but wont be very healthy as you need, carbs, protein and nutrients to get the body working properly, I stick to healthy eating and basic exercise for the rest of my life because I am now type 2 diabetes and have lost 25lbs over a few months without trying, Good Luck
