I make this smoothie every morning, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this would do for me? For example: lose weight, gain fat, ect. Smoothie:IceMixed frozen berries3 splenda3-4 tablespoons of OatsHalf waterHalf 2% Milk4 tablespoons of low-fat vanilla yogurt

How did I gain 6 pounds in one week?

Last Saturday(I weight myself at the same time every day) I weighed 135. Today I weighed in at 141lbs. I recently started lifting last week but I know that there's no way I added 6 pounds of muscle in 1 week. I also know there's no way I added 6 pounds of fat by going over my calorie limits by 21,000 calories. What could this sudden gain in weight be. If it helps I'm an 18 year old male, 5'4" tall and went from 135lbs(last week) to 141lbs. this week. Any help?

However, how much you ate that day, depending onthe time of day is enough to change a few lbs in ONE day. It may very well be possible that the scale reads an increase of 6 lbs and you may have actually lost body fat in that time.Unless you can accurately measure body fat % and body weight by totally controlling all these variables I wouldn't read too much into this.   • When you weigh yourself in the morning that is your actual weight. When ou weigh ourself in the afternoon or at night youll weigh a good 3 to 4 poinds heavier if you eat and take mass gainer. If our looking to be healthy about it, eat 4 to 5k calories a day, so 4 to 5 times a day. Strictly chckens, nuts and sweet potatoes. If your looking to take the not permanent, more expensive, quick way get some mass gainer and destroy your stomach and kidneys. In my opinion creatine and pre workouts are ok, but mass gainers are expensive fake food. If i was gonna be unhealthy about it i woul just juice instead of taking mass gainer. Hope that helped :)

Can taking birth control 6 hours late be bad?

I just started my second pack on the pill and the last two pills I took I took 5-6 hours later then normal. I took the next one on time and had unprotected sex. Will I be ok? Also, does birth control make you gain weight? This is my first time on the pill and it's my second pack.

I was always told as long as I take one everyday I'll be fine. I did and had unprotected sex and never got pregnant. I usually took them when I went to bed which always varied in time. I would sometimes forget to take one at night and in the morning took the one I was supposed too. I took birth control pills for 4 years and 3 of those years I was sexually active, never got pregnant. Its if you MISS one or two it can be bad. I never gained weight from the pill. This is my experience with birth control.

  • You should take your birth control at the same time every day to avoid pregnancy. However, each birth control has different instructions on how to proceed if you missed a pill or took a pill late. Try reading the information pamphlet to see how you should proceed, and if you need a back up method. My pills say as long as I take the pill as soon as I remember, and take the next pill on time after that, that I do not need a back up method. When I was on the mini pill, that was different. You may also have some spotting because you took your pill late. Birth control can cause weight gain, depending on the person.
  • You will most likely not get pregnant from this, but when you don't take birth control as directed you chances of getting pregnant increase. Don't worry unless you miss your next period. Set an alarm on your phone to go off every day at the time when you want to take your pill. If you are not using any other birth control (like condoms - which I would strongly suggest) it is really important that you take your pill on time everyday. As for the weight question, in my experience it has not caused weight gain. But I have heard girls who blame the pill for weight loss or weight gain. I've been sick for a month, Always tired, and never hungry?

I've had cold like symptoms, Sore throat swollen glands and sneezing constantly for a month. I've been taking medicine at home and nothing is working, I wake up everyday and it's the same exact thing! Ibrepofen cold and sinus helps a little bit but not that much at all really. Here lately I've also been extremely tired. I've been taking naps in the evening and when I wake up I'm still exhausted and can barely wake up and I've lost 10 pounds because I'm only lightly snacking and not eating meals.. What could be wrong with me and should I go to the doctor for this?

I'd go to your doctor regardless, because although glandular fever cannot be treated (it is a virus) you may have something else that needs to be checked before it gets any worse.
