First of all, according to height, u're in shape. There is no need to lose weight until you weigh 65-67kg (148 lb). But if you're still willing to lose weight to look attractive, avoid cheese, butters and carbohydrates like rice. Take a lot of vegetables/chicken/fish/fruit juice etc. Yogurts can reduce you fat cells. Try to take meals at a proper time which will help u digest the food better. And above all, exercising is the best solution and walking is the best exercise. Its more effective if u walk for 15 mins twice a day than to walk for 30 mins at a strech.

  • Meth
  • id say concentration campsbut you probably wont survive 1 week with their program.
  • You should discuss this your P.E. instructor.Because of your age, your body is still growing! If you do it the wrong way, you could have health issues later on.
  • You're quite young I'd recommend you just watch what you're eating and do 30 minute exercise every day. Maybe take up swimming or dancing. I honestly don't think there is a need for you to lose weight though. You're not overweight.
  • Diet and Exercise will be the best way to do it. There really is no "magic pill" that you can use to lose weight. Start with a high protein low carb diet, try to keep it around 1000-1300 calories per day, and do a lot of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and some weight training (even if you only do light weights, it tells your body, burn the fat not the muscle). Doing a shorter but more intense workout is more effective than 4 hours on a treadmill. Keep that heart pumping hard and you'll be in a good spot for torching the fat. It'll take a while to lose all that you want, but this really is the best way to approach it. How to Lose Weight Without Counting Calories

For Diet: First, you must watch your diet and eat real, healthy food. Meaning no junk/fast food, candy, sweets and no processed, canned and microwaved food. You can allow yourself a tiny tidbit like every two weeks so don't feel guilty. It may actually make you feel more motivated. Ignore the late-night snacks after 7pm and no-carb rules. They make no sense. And every time you reach for a candy or soda, ask yourself if that is really what your body needs. Swap with a fruit or some unsweetened iced tea. They make you feel more fuller and have much less calories. Also eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones. They keep your metabolism more busy. When it comes to cooking, steaming, roasting, baking, stir-frying and occasional grilling are examples of healthy cooking methods. Deep-frying, pan-frying, BBQ-ing, microwave in plastic and grilling with charcoal are a big No. Avoid dressing or any kind of sauce for your salad and food. And breakfast MUST be eaten everyday in the morning because it's the most important meal of the day.For Exercise:When exercising at the gym or home, do both cardio for fat burning and strength training for toning. Listen to music/audio books so that you don't feel bored. A workout is about 25-60+ minutes long. Workout right after you wake up is what I recommend. Your body will be forced to use your fats as energy as the body have already digest everything you ate yesterday. Have at least one day of rest for each week. It will give your body time to heal after a sweaty and tired week.In general, an effective weight loss workout routine might look something like this:- HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) 2-3 x per week (no more than 4 times a week, as the body needs to heal from this kind of intense training)- Lower intensity, steady state cardio on remaining days of the week, aside from 1-2 rest days- Strength training for the upper and lower body 2x a week each, or 2-3 total body strength sessionsTips:Find out your daily calorie intake and what is your ideal body weight. That way, you have a goal in mind and can stick to it. Find a motivation for you to stick to your weight loss plan. Like think how good you would look in that sexy bikini or cool shirt that is two size smaller than your original one. Record everything you eat including calories and did as in exercises and workouts in a notebook. Set realistic goals. Ask your family or friends to join you. That way, it won't be so lonely. And they get to benefit from it too. To reduce overall body fat, you need a combination of cardio, total body strength training, and a clean diet (lots of fruits, veggies, lean protein, whole grains & healthy fats). You don't need specialty shakes, powders, pills, etc. They are just a waste of money. Just hard work and have the discipline to eat healthily. Others:On your rest day, stock up on protein and vegetables. And rest days DO NOT mean cheat days or binge days. Minimize the carbs because you are not using as much energy as you did in the past six days. But rest days also don't mean doing nothing. Just take a walk around the neighborhood or do a few easy 5-10 minute toning workouts. The best is to go grocery shopping or house cleaning. That way, you, your fridge and the house will be ready for the next heart-pumping week.If you have a binge, don't worry. Everybody needs to break off for a while and give in to temptation. Don't beat yourself over it and feel guilty. Also, don't kill yourself exercising and eat 100-200 calories the next day. Just eat normally and exercise as usual. In 2-3 days time, your weight will be the same again. To prevent it, paste post-its on the fridge door that says things like, "Don't Binge When You Open Me". And wait for 10 minutes when the temptation raise. It would likely be gone by then. Have a cheat MEAL once a week. That way, you have something to look forward to and the meal can keep your binging at bay.Recommendations:Check out http://www.fitnessblender.com/ and http://www.nowloss.com/. They have calculators, calorie tools, exercise tips, healthy recipes and workout videos, most you can do at home, all for free. Good luck :)

  • I have always had issues with my weight and have been to dietitians, tried different diets, and even 24 hour drinks to lose weight fast. These are only temporary solutions. I lost 20 pounds in a month just by eating healthier 3 to 4 days a week. That's it. I hate veggies, water, and fruits. That was what I was missing, so I added it to my diet every week and will continue from now on. I not only am losing weight but the pain in my stomach and feet have disappeared, and my energy level has increased. No more headaches and no more bloating. Discipline is the key and research your own diet solutions. Know your food and know what you need then eat what you want as a reward for success. Your body needs the right food to stay healthy and energetic. Good luck.

Why do I gain weight extremely easily?

Hello, I'm a 5'3 female and I seem to have a strange problem.I gain weight very easily, even though I'm very active.Last 2 years, my diet was very limited, due to family and financial problems. I usually ate a lot of vegetables, fruits, dairy, grains, and almost no red meat and fish. I also played a lot of sports(and I still do). I don't eat very much naturally, I guess my daily average was around 700 calories. I couldn't eat more than this amount, if I did my stomach went "tired" and I couldn't eat anything without getting acid in my mouth the other day. Now, the situation has got a little bit better. Recently, I wanted to lose a bit of weight(my mother asked me to do it, since we were going to the seaside). I went to the dietologist and she said I'm eating too little and I need to eat at least 1200 calories a day to get my body to work.So I tried it. It was very hard for me, every day I felt bloated, like my stomach was about to explode from this amount of food. Now it's a bit better. What I eat is a lot of fruits and vegetables as usual, fish and chicken as a source of protein(my mother is vegetarian and she didn't allow me to buy red meat). I still play volleyball, ride my bicycle to places where I want to go, rollerskate, and swim for at least 2 hours a day, so I'm active. The dietologist said I need to count calories I burn while doing all these sports and "eat them back", and that's what I do.But the problem is... I don't seem to lose weight. I only gain it, and very rapidly. It was the same as always(119 lbs) the last week, and now it has been only 5 days since I started gaining and it's already 136 lbs and raising. It's really strange to me. My size(US 2) didn't really change, though. Maybe I have some hormonal disorder or something? I don't have diabetes or anything like that.I don't think it's the genes, my weight was always healthy, and my parents are thin.Should I lower my intake from 1200 to my usual 700-800?Did the dietologist say something wrong?I'm not worried about the weight itself as long as it stays healthy, I just find the way and the fact I gain it very unnatural and weird.Anybody knows what is happening? Thanks!Marko, my diet is already like that :)I eat muesli with soy milk for breakfast, soup and rye crackers for lunch, rice with chicken/fish for dinner and at least 5 fruits or vegetables for snacks. Also granola bars when I get hungry while playing sports. Also, I don't want to lose weight because I think I'm fat. I don't think I'm overweight at all, and I don't think being so is a bad thing. My mother wants me to do it, we are going abroad to the seaside, to a quite luxurious resort. There might be famous people there, and she wants me to look like a "person who takes care of herself" in front of them. She has... quite peculiar views on feminine beauty, and thinks it comes in sizes US 2-3 max. She is US size 18 though, because she is very curvy(I doubt she has any fat though), and because of that is very unhappy with herself. Because of her low self-esteem, she wants me to be beautiful in her eyes. She sees herself in me, in my body and personality. So ISo I'm doing it for her, to make her happy at least by doing little things like this. She is going through hard times right now, and she possibly suffers from mild psychotic disorder, so I'm afraid to disagree with her or upset her. It's not my wishes I'm trying to make come true.

"I'm not worried about the weight itself as long as it stays healthy," Yes. Finally someone gets it.Stop weighing yourself. Weight is not an indicator of anything. It doesn't indicate your health, or the way you look, or even how much fat is on your body. I know a lot of people are going to disagree with me on this. But I don't think weight is important at all. Especially on a day to day basis. It's water or food in the stomach. Your weight can actually very a lot from just water and food.It sounds to me like the dietologist is worried that you have an eating disorder. I hate to disagree with a specialist, but I'm going to. Your body knows when it has enough food. I've never heard of someone feeling like their full, but they need more food. That seems strange. Unless you really do have an eating disorder. But it doesn't sound like an eating disorder to me.I think you should stop counting calories, and let your body tell you how much to eat. Your eating the right food and your exercising. And based on how active you are I would say your very healthy. So I really don't understand why you should be counting calories.Maybe the dietologist sees something that I don't see.

  • you most probably have a low metabolic rate. follow my 'diet rules' and you'll achieve a great body. 1. Workout 3-5 days a week.. can be jogging, can be swimming, do any exercise. (45 minutes) 2. Drink a lot of water 3. Consume high protein food and cut all Fats and Sugars4. Minimize Carbs5. Eat 5 meals, Small meals a day.. to keep metabolism up. follow my diet: breakfast: 3-4 spoons of oats + skimmed milk + 3 egg whites. snack: A fruit (can be an apple or anything you want) + (optional: 2 Omega 3 pills, or 10-15 almonds)lunch: meat/chicken/fish + steamed rice (not too much) + salad or veggies. 2nd snack: can be another fruit or a juice. dinner: consume anything that has low calories such as skimmed milk or salad, or yogurt. good luck
  • All I can say is if you are eating more calories than before then of course you're going to put weight on. I'd cut it back down.136 for your height is too much already.
  • Nobody gains 17 pounds of fat in 5 days. You put on water weight. Stop weighing yourself and keep eating a decent amount of food. Do not try to lose weight. A size 2 at 5'3 is by no means overweight/fat. In fact that's pretty small. Focus on eating enough food, eating the right foods, being active and being healthy.
