Is it ok to lift weights and do threadmill at the same day?

Im 5'9 and 185 lbs (210 lbs last December) I just started going in the gym. I want to lose weight,my big belly and gain muscle at the same time(biceps and triceps). Ive been doing 45 minutes of lifting weights then 30 minutes of walking and jogging. Is this advisable? Sometimes I just do an hour of jogging and walking burning 540 calories a day. Is this stopping me to gain a mass? Thanks in advance.
