How to Be Lazy and Lose Weight

Recommended Answer:

It is better to discuss with a expert physician for this issue. Exercising is an important factor to a successful weight-loss program. Losing weight permanently requires discipline and patience. Small goals should be the focus. With healthy eating and participation in consistent exercise, you can lose about 1/2 to 1 lb. of body fat every week.If you interested to use any supplements then I suggest to select such a product which contain natural ingredients. There are many supplements in the market but all are not good and healthful. I have experience with this issue and I get result from Garcinia Cambogia; it very small in size and shapes pretty much like a pumpkin. The rind from the fruit is extracted and used as the main ingredient in most weight loss supplements. So that it contains a compound known as Hydroxycitric Acid (HCA) that is conceived to boost weight loss.

  • Start with your doctor. You want to make sure you are healthy enough to start exercise and that there are no illnesses or disease you need to be aware of. Have him set your initial goal weight and then a final goal weight.First of all don't try to do everything at once. You have to work up to it. Start by cutting out salty, sugary foods and drink. Cut out fried foods. Start eating lean fish and turkey or have vegetarian meals on one night a week. Watch your portion control. In the US we eat HUGE portions compared to other countries. I have a scale and measuring cups and spoons that I use religiously. What you think is 6 ounces is actually 12 - 14 or a 1/2 cup is more like 1-1/2 or more.Start exercising. If you can only walk a block, walk a block. Try to get your time less each time you walk. When you can do it easily add another block, and on and on. Get at least 30 minutes of intense cardio 3 - 5 times a week.Drink lots of water and get lots of rest! You'll start to see the weight come off quickly in the beginning. You should level off to 1-1/2 to 2 pounds a week. By taking it off slowly you'll be more likely to be able to keep it off and your skin will be more likely to shrink back to normal.I wish you lots of luck. What worked for me was pulling out a picture of when I looked good, not skinny, but reasonable. I blew it up to an 8x10 and put a copy on the refrigerator. I also don't keep anything in the house like chips or cookies. I do keep some low fat options like Quaker Oat cakes as a treat.
  • Well, you'll definitely need a better diet and exercise. It's best to start small and buildup- if you can afford it, p90x is a GREAT system, has 3 levels as your endurance gets better and you lose more weight. Drink only water, don't eat a ton of processed foods, and limit portion size. A terrific blogger/Pilates instructor is cassy ho, she has a YouTube channel called blogilates where she mostly focuses on quick workouts and good diet foods. Follow her blog at blogilates.com, you get motivation, information, and a positive self image! :) also, don't think of a diet, think of it as a lifestyle change. And don't go too crazy with the weight loss-- it's fine to be healthy, but God loves you no matter how many love handles you have. So love yourself as we'll, and never sacrifice your self image and confidence for ANYONE. Good luck!

12 miles on a mountain bike each day, calories burned?

I am going to start riding 12 miles per day on my mountain bike, it is an extended route of the 10 mile ride i used to do each day.The route has quite a few hills and some off road, although a lot of it is on the roads. I was wondering how many calories would i burn each ride, and whether it would be beneficial for weight loss and general fitness.I used to complete the 10 mile ride in about 50 minutes on average.Thanks.

How to Lose Weight in the Feet

Recommended Answer:

There is NO exact way to tell - period. Everything is a "guesstimate". Some go by a flat 35 calories burned per mile. Others (like me) prefer this calculator from Bicycling.com - http://www.bicycling.com/caloriemain But NONE of them take into consideration hills, wind or what the exact terrain is. Here's a sure fire way to lose weight... Ride more & eat less. DIET & exercise. Diet is more important. http://shine.yahoo.com/summer-living/diet-vs-exercise-matters-most-152700978.html

  • As cyclists are so fond of telling us, riding a bicycle is one of the most energy-efficient methods of transport. So walk instead if you want to shift the lard.
  • It will help 12 miles is about 420 calories. Eat 600 calories less each day and lose 2 lbs a week. Your body gets use to the same routine so mix it up with extra hill climbing or longer harder rides.
  • I think Old Hippie has the best answer so far. As a former overweight person he really knows what it takes to trim down. 12 miles isn't enough riding to burn very many calories, you would also have to reduce the number of calories you take in
