How to workout my back, legs, and arms?

I want to make my back, legs, and arms stronger so I am going to start working out at the gym. I want to gain weight by gaining muscle.What sort of workouts do I need to do? Also to gain muscle, should I also start drinking protein? I need some tips please and thank you!

How is my weight so far (I'm 20 weeks pregnant)?

My weight before pregnancy was 130. Now that I'm 20 weeks I weigh 141.So I've gained 11 pounds so far.About three weeks ago I was 143, but the last time I went to the OB, they told me I lost 2 pounds (but they weren't concerned about it).I was anorexic before becoming pregnant, but ever since I learned I was pregnant, I am eating "normally", though everyone still says I don''t eat nearly as much as most pregnant women. But to me, eating three meals a day is practically gorging myself. I also get full really quickly since about 3 weeks ago (but in my first trimester I had a bigger appetite).I am just afraid of gaining too much weight, and when they told me I lost 2 pounds, I got a really strong urge to go back to anorexia and lose more weight as fast as I could (but I'm not going to because I want a happy and healthy baby).Also my friend scared me because the other day she told me before she became pregnant with her first child she was anorexic, but then when she became pregnant she just started eating everything in sight. She ended up gaining 85 pounds by the end of her pregnancy!!I really don't want this to happen to me.Is 11 pounds by 20 weeks acceptable? At this rate, how much should I gain by the end. I'm still eating really healthy.

That is perfectly fine! You're supposed to gain at least 25lbs throughout your whole pregnancy and sounds to me like you're right on track...Don't worry about gaining too much weight. Your friend obviously did not have any self control which is why she gained so much. Just maintain the self control and you should be absolutely fine.

  • talk to your doc about what your "ideal weight gain" should be, I cannot stress this enough. everyone is different. I was 210 when I was pregnant with my first son, and my "ideal gain" was no more than 15lbs. which was easy to do since I had horrible food aversions and could only keep water down most days. I only gained 14 and half of that was the actual baby lol

I workout and weight 160 and I need to lose weight I do 100 push ups per day and 100 sits up too I play soccer?
