How to lose weight? Fast ish?

As fast as possible without like dying. I'm 13 and no one tell me that I'm not fat because you haven't even seen me. And I just don't feel pretty. I have a pretty face and hair and eyes, and I would think I was pretty over all if I wasn't so fat. Detailed answers please. I've always been the fat kid and I hate it.

How to Lose Weight Properly

Recommended Answer:

I was always a "chubby" kid too. When I got older, I went on the Atkins diet at the suggestion of a doctor. Atkins works if you want fast and healthy, but it requires a bit of work (meal preparation because you can't eat stuff that's already prepared/frozen, etc.) and changes to the grocery list. Basically you give up carbohydrates, including breads, sugar, rice, pasta, fruit, etc. and only eat meat, veggies, eggs, and cheese for the first two weeks...but you can eat as much as you want so you never feel hungry. All of your carbohydrates will come from vegetables which are healthy, not starchy ones like potatoes, carrots and corn. After the 2 week induction phase you move on to the next phase. You can read about it on the Atkins website. However, at your age, unless you are seriously obese, you might just benefit from trying to eat fewer simple sugars and refined carbohydrates. Soda, juice, chips, cookies, crackers, fruit snacks, junk food, fast food, and everything like it aren't doing you any favors. You may also benefit from reducing your calorie intake (or portion size, if you're not able to determine the calories), or by starting to exercise, or both. Either way, I would suggest that you learn about food, health and diet and get yourself started on a healthy lifestyle now, as it will be easier to maintain than if you were to start at an older age. Good luck to you.

  • Aww I'm sorry about that. Just eat a good diet. Fruits, vegetables. Within one month, I've lost 20lbs from walking my neighborhood for an hour and playing Wii Fit, also eating 3 meals a day and chewing slowly. Losing 20lbs in one month is crazy (I think) especially for a 13-year-old like myself. Well I was, now I'm 14. You can do it!

How to Lose Weight in the Face in a Week

You seem to have a fatigue problem. Perhaps the energy vitamin B12 can help or a vitamin B complex. Coenzyme Q10 can also help to boost your energy level as in http://au.search.yahoo.com/search?p=%22coenzyme+q10+for+energy%22&fr=ush-ans The super food Spirulina is another good energy booster. One of the most common fatigue causes is anxiety, which is known to effect 40 million U.S. adults each year. Anxiety is a state of fear of real or imagined danger, which is manifested as increased heart rate, trembling, panic, weakness, extreme fatigue and stomach or intestinal discomfort. Anxiety disorders make up the largest mental illness diagnosis in the U.S. Besides anxiety there are many other common fatigue causes such as insufficient sleep, too much sleep, under eating, thyroid problems or other illnesses (such as anemia, mononucleosis, CFS, glandular fever and many others), side effects from medication, dehydration, overexertion, an unhealthy diet and other causes as discussed in http://au.search.yahoo.com/search?p=%22common+fatigue+causes%22&fr=ush-ans

  • From someone who's the same age and had brain surgery 10 yrs ago....I can give you "Hindsight" advice....1) The brain surgery itself is causing 90% of your problems....2) adjusting to the new you is contributing to the rest. 3) BE kind to you family no matter what...they may abandon you (like mine did) if you don't. 4) It takes a very long time (2 or more years) for a decent new you adjustment to take place....so , easy does it and please.....just be kind to all people, be humble, smile, and just be nice until you recover fully.....if not, you may find yourself all alone....(Been there) which is a horrible place to be. Really, easy does it, if you need help with bills etc. Ask your spouse kindly, if they don't, ask the doctor where to turn to kindly...etc etc...as for those BS meds...been through them all...lamictal was the only one I tolerated.. Lose Weight the Right Way and Keep it Off

First, congrats on the weight loss and hard work! Try popping a mint in your mouth when the craving comes. Not only will it help to the desire slightly but the great breath to go with your new great lifestyle is a plus! After 2-3 weeks most habits are almost completely able to be broken so try to keep that goal in mind:)

  • Just let your body adjust to the change.. Don freak out and get stressed.. Stress does no good in weight loss.. Just do what you are doing and your efforts wil show...
  • Giving up smoking doesn not gain you weight, thats all muth and all in your mind

you may be compensating for your addiction by eating irregulary.
try eating smaller portions and more healthier options
do daily cardio of 30 minutes

    cheers

Cat is begging for food after I already fed it?

Cat keeps begging for food, even right after I fed her a full bowl. She is on a diet so she can only have one full bowl at night and half bowl in the morning.

She keeps begging, but she can't have it because she is a fatty and she needs to lose weight. Only problem is she is constantly meowing in the kitchen now for more food. How to get her to stop begging?

the cats nature is to exploit you food all the food it can, especially if more people live with the cat, because it can beg everyone for food. the cat isn't hungry, but just wants to eat. i have found the best thing to do is distract your cat with a play toy, cat nip, or a cat nip filled toy. cats love fresh catnip and it grows kinda like mint leave so it is not hard to grow, but it is hard to keep away from the cat once the cat realizes what this is. anyway just remember the cat is not hungry, just distract your cat from the food it does not need

  • I suggest that you have her checked for tape worms. They feel hungry all the time because the worm is essentially "steeling" their food.

    I got this from http://www.petwave.com/cats/health/digestive/tapeworm/overview.aspx

Cats and dogs may carry tapeworms without showing any symptoms. When symptoms do occur they may include weight loss, poor coat quality, increased appetite with little weight gain, upset stomach, periodic diarrhea, lethargy, and irritability. In rare cases, or extremely severe cases, tapeworms can cause symptoms which include seizures and severe weight loss.
  • she will get fat
  • Offer her some peas, beans or carrots. If she is truly hungry she will eat them. You can also try splitting her daily allowance into 3 meals- morning, evening & right before bed.

I'm not sure how much your bowl holds, but a total of 1/2 cup of dry food is plenty for most cats. Canned food will stick to her ribs longer because it is more protein than carbs (unlike dry). It's also healthier. About 1 1/4 can is plenty for the day. If you feed a combination, ration accordingly.
  • You could try putting her allowed ration of food in several small bowls dotted around your house which would make the meals last longer and also give her a bit of exercise while hunting for the food! As suggested by someone else, more playtime is a good idea, some cats are like people and eat when they are bored!
  • Hiya first have you been deworming reguarly this can create excess hunger if not time for a vet check up
