An embryo is a fertilized egg. You don't have any of those unless you have just become pregnant.Removing just the eggs won't do a thing. The eggs aren't to blame for PMS. The ovaries are the organs that house the eggs. Surgical removal of the ovaries may help, but you may not need to go that far. Talk with your doctor. The surgery is called an oophorectomy. It is usually done if there are tumors or certain kinds of benign but still serious cysts on the ovaries. If your symptoms are very severe, you may have some kind of cysts on your ovaries (PCOS, or polycystic ovarian syndrome, is a common cause of severe PMS.) Surgery should be a last resort. There are other possible solutions. Having a full hysterectomy (uterus and ovaries) or an oophorectomy (ovaries only) is the only way to completely get rid of periods and all accompanying symptoms. If you remove your ovaries, you will go through menopause. This may be accompanied by a wide range of side efffects - it might just be relief after you heal from surgery, or it might be serious menopausal symptoms. Like your grandmother, with the hot flashes, sweats, and weight gain around the middle. Here's a much better solution: Talk with your doctor about all the possibilities. There are many reasons you might have such severe symptoms. Some of them involve imbalanced hormones, and might be helped by improved weight, improved diet, improved fitness, taking the pill, or other hormonal medication. Some severe PMS is caused by endometriosis, or other potentially serious health conditions. Tell your doctor how much you are suffering. She can check you for anything serious, and she can help you find a solution.A friend of mine had such horrible cramps every month that she had to take strong drugs, and would sometimes faint from the pain. She had severe endometriosis. She had a full hysterectomy, and has felt much better ever since. Sometimes it is worth going through menopause in order to experience relief. For most women, the best and most reliable solutions are healthy lifestyle changes. Maybe some of these ideas will work for you. Do you eat enough? Do you eat enough fat, carbs, and protein? Do you eat enough fresh veggies and fruits? Many women restrict one or more types of food, resulting in imbalances. Restriction just leads to imbalances and then to bingeing, because your body does not want to be starved for too long. This can become a very unhealthy pattern. It is best to start with a healthy foundation, eat good food, and still treat yourself to treats sometimes - just start with a strong foundation with plenty of veggies, fruits, fish or other lean protein, olive oil, and plenty of diversity in your diet. With a good foundation and whatever else you like, you'll be ok.You need carbs for energy, fat for proper hormone balance, and protein for muscles and healing. You need enough of all these different macronutrients for your body to work right. Don't skimp! Make sure you eat enough to maintain a healthy energy level.Do you eat a lot of fast food or cafeteria style food, or do you eat mostly fresh food made at home from fresh ingredients? Homemade food is a much better idea, for so many reasons. Do you eat a lot of soy, or a lot of dairy? Try skipping both completely for a month, and see if it makes you feel better. Both soy and dairy can do weird things to your hormones.Do you get enough regular exercise - weight training, yoga or other stretching, and some cardio? Do you exercise too much? The right amount of exercise is amazingly beneficial. Do you get enough sleep? Proper sleep and other rest is absolutely essential for best health, including menstrual health. If you try all these methods and keep in contact with your doctor, she is more likely to work with you to develop an alternative treatment plan.Good luck, and I hope you feel better!

How to get genuinely model skinny when you are athletic?

I am 15 and PLZ don''t say model skinny is unhealthy, because honestly, everyone knows that...But I really want to be model skinny.

I already work out and am on a 1200 cal. diet to lose my weight safely, as I could remove as much fat as I can, but how can I get model skinny? How can I convert my diet to that?

My appetite is growing, and I already have 2 huge muscles (my legs), and always working out, but then at the same time my appetite is increasing so It would mean =
Eating more + Working out MORE INTENSE = MAINTAINING WEIGHT. NOT what I''m aiming for, esp. When I SLACK OFF on my work out, I will automatically, hastily gain weight In a day.

You never hear models and their stomach growl.
Do models work out crazily or just work out not as super intense and starve ? What do they do??
My body is Skinny to my eyes because I always work out more than I consume, but when I pretend to complain to my friend that Im fat, she says "No, ur OK...Don''t worry, you''re not fat." , And I asked my mom if I was fat or average and she said "Yeah, ur average. You''re not skinny, and ur not fat.Don''t worry." Of course, parents dont want u to be skinny.

  • im 15 and had the same problem and this probably isnt what doctors and stuff would recommend but it worked; stop working out and just eat less

Would you consider this a good diet plan or should I add/subtract some foods.?

I''m aiming to lose about 20-40 pounds by summer time and have devised a diet plan. I''ve started this a couple of days ago and am planning on continuing for at least 5 months. Please let me know if you think it is good enough or if I should add or subtract any foods.

Meal #1 - Either a bowl of oatmeal or a bowl of granola + a banana or orange + a cup of green tea
Meal #2 - Either a bowl of tuna w/ mustard & pepper or a bowl of rice with chopped veggies
Meal #3 - Either a bowl of tuna w/ mustard & pepper or a peanut butter sandwich + a cup of yogurt
Meal #4 - A bowl of almonds (5-10) & walnuts (2-4) + a banana

I''d greatly appreciate any helpful answers. Thank You

What is the Fastest Way to Lose Weight?

Recommended Answer:
Seems pretty effective for weight loss for the most part, but their is definitely room for improvement. In meal one I suggest that you stick with oatmeal, because granola high in fat and sugar, and also can be addictive, because it is so tasty. or you can try barley which is similar to oatmeal in terms of taste and health. If you want the most effective diet in terms of weight loss, I suggest you stay away from bread as a whole and get your carbs from helathier and less starchy sources such as brown rice, oatmeal, barley, and healthy cereals that are low in sugar and high in fiber. Also finding alternatives to tuna as a main source of protein in your diet will help you stick to it. Such alternatives could be canned clam meat, egg whites, beef jerky, beans etc. You may need to add a little bit more calcium in your diet, and that can easily be done by adding more yogurt or fat free cottage cheese to the meal plan. But to warn you some yogurts even ones that are marked as healthy are high in sugar and if you have a hunger impulse , and they are stocked up in the fridge they may not last. So anyway hope this helps and good luck with your diet, and stay true to it as possible, but I definetlydo recomend that you do some research.

  • a diet is nothing without exercize!

peanut butter is kind of bad for you-SOO much fat. also carbs. if carbs arent used up, they are stored as FAT! instead go for protein. unused protein is just pooped out
also make sure its GREEK yogurt, it has more protein
alsoo remember celery and pickles are 0 cal wink wink winkkk
  • You might get tired of tuna after a while so i would recomend throwing in any type of lean meat like chicken for a substitute! Other than that it sounds good - remember to drink 8 glasses of water a day! Good Luck!
  • in addition to that I exercise by doing 10 repetitions of heavy weights. 11 exercises in 15 minutes 3x a week at 50 I was out of shape lost 35 lbs by cutting sweets and carbs.
