I'm trying to lose weight kinda gradually so I don't completely lose my boobs and end up with a bunch of floppy skin. I already eat 1440 calories a day, and I go to the gym every night, usually doing at least 30 mins of cardio then going to work on a few machines. I also have cheer practice two times a week for two hours right after school. Would it be overkill to jog for 30 mins/2 miles in the morning too?
How to Lose Weight Without Cardio
Recommended Answer:
Be careful that you aren't doing too much cardio...excessive cardio can cause muscle tissue breakdown unless you are eating a lot of protein (and healthy calories overall) to help ensure your body has what it needs...If you are doing 30 mins of cardio every evening PLUS cheer practice for 2 hrs 2x a week, I'd say focus more on your strength training instead of adding even more cardio...the more muscle you have, the faster your metabolism...Don't forget, eating is key...if you aren't eating right, all that exercise won't give you the results you desire...eat clean...Other Answers:
