Trying to lose weight but no progress?

I'm a 17 year old girl. I'm 5'2'' and I weigh 121 lbs. About a week ago I changed my diet and daily routine completely. I haven't been counting calories, but I'm drinking nothing but water and eating very healthy things (no fast food, sweets, etc). I've also been running at least a mile every day and doing crunches, pushups, and jumping jacks every night. Yet I still haven't lost any weight? I might have even gained a little. Could this be water weight from drinking so much water?

How to Be Lazy and Lose Weight

Recommended Answer:

For weight loss, dieting is more effective than exercise. Reducing your intake of junk sugar will help. The natural sugars in fruits are OK as they are metabolised to glucose slowly due to their high fiber content. Fruits are low in calories and are not fattening. Most fruits and vegetables are metabolism boosting foods and that helps for weight loss.

  • If you want to lose weight and keep it off you need to target the areas on your body that are composed mostly of fat.. Also eat many times a day this boosts your metabolism, five times a day, small meals, and snacks. Your 4th should be dinner. Eat healthy, you need some good carbs, protein, whole grains etc.
  • I'm just like you bro! I'm gonna join the Air Force so I have to gain weight too. Have you heard of vital Russian bear 5000. It's a weight gainer! I went from 125 to 127 in a week. Also instead of water try protein or weight gainer shakes with whole fat milk. Then have in between snakes. For me I snack on trail mix. And about the weight gainer shakes u really have to be committed. Drinking them at first will make you hella full which is good. Also eat before you sleep. Also eating meat is improtant. This is pretty much what I've been doing lately and hope it helps with you.
