what food can i eat to help me drop weight?

I need to drop 30 pounds within a year, i started boxing and i want to get into fighting weight im 5'9 and i weigh 165 i want to drop to 130-135 pounds to fight but i dont know what foods i should eat to help me lose weight and what protein shakes, can u guys help me out with tips on what to eat and what shakes are good?

for around 15-20 pounds a month : for breakfast have 1 nutrient bar with a cup of milk. whatever lunch is, keep it small and simple, if its potatoes or something fatty eat a little bit of it, if its pizza then 1 slice but "no fries", at around 3:30 for a snack you can eat nuts, 5 crackers or 9 pretzels (look at the bag for the serving size and the calories those are usually the calories for those snacks)for supper start eating it like 6:30 but make sure you don't eat after 7:30 (this is probably the best way to keep weight off "don't eat late") its best to eat meat or chicken for supper (not dairy) even fried chicken as long as its not too much. stick to around 1850 calories a day and play sports to flex and work up a sweat (like basketball) or just jog. stay away from anything heavy like cake or beans or anything with high fat calories! dont pay so much attention to just regular calories as long as its not crazy high (use your judgement for calories by how much calories you intake every day) but watch out for fat calories! hope this helped. and drink only water casually during the day and a lot after a meal. and eat some vegetables for strenthg since you want to be a boxer
