How can a teen boy lose 10 pounds in a month?

I'm not too fat I just have a little chub, but i have about 10 pounds of fat I could lose, according to my doctor. I started running last week and Im eating healthy. i have one cheat day on friday where i have a slice or two of pizza. What else would help me lose weight? Also, i heard grapefruit helps.
