ok were I live all the racers have either mid 90s civic si's or integra gsr, with there vtec dohc engines, maybe a couple of mustang gt's. I wanna get something other than a si or gsr to beat these guys but I have researched and have no luck with my budget. stock eclipse gsx wont work celica gts either. So what car do you think I can get with 7000, obviously its gonna be a car in the 90s maybe early 2000s if im lucky, I can expect high mileage, used car. im talking about stock cars. Anything out there wrx, 3000gt, 300zx, Mazdas, audi. thanks

Try looking for a 2000 to 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP or Bonneville SSEi. They are supercharged and can be upgraded fairly cheaply. Buick Regals also were supercharged and lighter weight. Check out the 3800performance.com web site to look at all the goodies available for making them faster. Make sure you spend the $100 on the shift kit if you do any horsepower increases!Just going with the stage one computer and a 3.0 supercharger pulley really gets the car to launch off the line! Don't remove the U-bend in the exhaust, you lose all the low end torque off the line doing that or putting headers on. Cat-back exhaust is all you need.Other Answers:
- Nissan 350z super fast - $7000 (Milford)... I don't know where you live but Your craigs list should give you a hundred ideas. I typed in fast for the hell of it and got that link just as an example. But i'd love a 350z all day-
- Um, the car in that first poster's link HAS to be a salvage. Nobody sells a 350z with 75k miles with "minor" damage for $7000.Well, OP, for $7000, you can get fast or reliable. With what you've named off, for the most part, you aren't worried about ANY hint of reliability...so pick whatever POS you want.
