How do I lose stomach fat?

Well, I want to lose stomach fat because I don't like it. It makes me self conscious and I can never wear a bikini so I want to learn any diet plans or daily exercises I can do lose stomach fat. Please try to think outside the box, I already know walks and eating vegetables will help, I've heard it. PS- I'm 5"1 1/2 and 125 lbs :/

You should also only be lifting 2-3 times a week, depending on if you do Compound or Isolation exercises, since your muscles need at least 48 hours to heal themselves. If you have a gym membership, spend the money on a trainer for at least one session, so they can show you how to lift safely.
  • You should cut down on sugar. Eat healthier, try to skip dessert, drink water instead of sodas or sugary drinks... You should do cardio like running,cycling,walking,swimming.... Try doing jumping jacks or even jump rope. Exercise more!
  • Your weight is within the healthy range if you have a medium or large frame. If you have a small frame, you are a bit over the top (that range is 106-118 pounds).That said, to reduce belly fat, I would suggest sit-ups and leg-ups. They tighten the two areas associated with stomach muscles. Not only will you lose the fat, but you will look a lot healthier.

How many calories should I have a day?

So I'm trying to lose just a tiny bit of weight in 2.5 weeks now. I've cut my daily calorie intake down to 1,200. Is this enough? If its possible I'd like to lose 1-2lbs a week. But Ali's I can work of at least 500 cal a day I want to loose fat and NOT muscle. Will this help? Do I have not enough calories or too much?

1200 is the lowest you should go if you're reducing your calorie intake, so that's okay. and as long as you're eating healthy and don't continue after you've lost all the fat, you should be okay,and won't lose muscle. and at 1200 calories a day you'd already be losing 1-2lbs a week. I'f you're going to excersise too, make sure you're eating very healthy throughout the day, and eating a good amount of protein, or you'd start losing muscle since your body isn't getting enough calories to maintain your weight properly. If you're going to exercise, and burn maybe 500 calories a day , you'll probably lose around 3lbs a week, but that's okay since it's dieting and exercising combined. Just be careful to watch your weight, or you'll end up losing too much, and it'll start to affect Muscle and not fat.
