How to Set Weight Loss Goals
Recommended Answer:
You're doing good so far. It's safe to lose a pound or two a week. Unless you're doing extraordinarily vigorous activities, then you might lose up to 5 lbs. At a normal rate, It could take you 10 weeks, or 2 1/2 months to lose 20 pounds, if you're going to lose 2 pounds a week. Or 20 weeks, roughly, 5 months at a rate of losing one pound per week. I find that sometimes, in a week my body may not lose any pounds. And in another week, I've lost up to 4 pounds. The fluctuation of the body is amazing. Just got to keep the fuel, (food and water), coming. Your metabolism is also one huge factor in losing lbs. I have a slow metabolism, so for me to lose a couple of pounds in a week would be a miracle. Where as for someone with a high metabolism could easily lose over 2 pounds a week. It really depends. But either way, at your rate, you'll lose 20 pounds in no time =) It took me 5 months to work off 31 pounds. And that was with major cheat days, portion control and regular exercise~

- Depends which work outs you're doing and what you're working on.
- Don't worry! 1357 is still technically not enough. I'm the same height as you and my body needs 1200 cals just to tick over, That's like if you lie down all day, and eat 1357 calories you wouldnt put any weight on. So since you've (i assume) been doing your usualy daily things then you should lose weight esp since you worked out. Even if you eat 1500 cals a day, you would still be losing weight. The easiet way I find to lose weight in a short time like a week is cutting out carbsonly eat cheese, meat, veg etc. No fruit, bread, rice, sugar anything thats a carb. thats not healthy forever, but works for losing weight fast!
